Reservations & cancellations

Reserving a room/bed at the hostel requires a credit card number upon booking.

The first night will be debited from your card one week before arrival and is non-refundable. The balance is due on check-in.

For stays of less than one week, we require 48 hours cancellation for the remaining days of your stay. If your reservation is for one week or more, we require seven days cancellation. Less than this notice results in the full amount being charged to your card.

Info & policies

Dreamcatcher Hostel has a 'no shoe' policy. This includes any shoes that have been worn outside, whether hiking boots, sandals, ski boots etc. If you don't like to go barefoot or wear socks then please bring slippers or flip-flops that have not been outside. We are famous for being very clean and this helps us to maintain our standards.

We have two beautiful dogs who like to greet our guests at the door. They are very friendly and like to have their bellies rubbed. The hostel is their home so they do hang out in the main floor areas, however they are not allowed in the guest rooms and please do not feed them!

All guests arriving at the Dreamcatcher will need to present a valid credit card and photo I.D. at check-in.

Families with well-behaved children are welcome - one child under 12 stays free in existing beds, all others pay the adult rate.

Guest Behaviour: The comfort, safety and security of our guests is of supreme importance to us. Any guest(s) who compromises the comfort, safety or security of other guests, staff or local residents will be requested to leave the hostel and will not be offered a refund. Guests are expected to respect other guests, staff, local residents and property. In the case of groups, the group leaders must ensure that all members of their group behave in an acceptable manner. Failure of any individual group member to do so will result in the expulsion of the whole group.
